The ‘Peninsula Womens’ Hockey Association’ was formed in 1963, and over the years, has encompassed teams from the surrounding area - Rosebud to Koo-Wee-Rup, Moorabbin to Berwick and everywhere in between.
The ‘Peninsula Womens’ Hockey Association’ was formed in 1963, and over the years, has encompassed teams from the surrounding area - Rosebud to Koo-Wee-Rup, Moorabbin to Berwick and everywhere in between.
This country association has played continuously for over 50 years; originally on Saturday afternoons on grass and now on Monday nights on turf at the Peninsula Hockey Ground at Monash University in Frankston.
P.W.H.A. is represented at Country Week, The Casey Cup, Australasian Masters’ Games and World Masters’ Games tournaments. The Association welcomes all women over the age of 13, of any skill level from beginners to experienced players.
